On two acres of wooded trails for children, Peace Through Play Nursery School incorporates the philosophy of Peace Education as a Montessori-based program and an eclectic approach to best practices in early childhood education preparing children and families for kindergarten and beyond.  NYS Licensed; Large outdoor play area and two acres of woods; Music, movement and art with an emphasis on cooperative learning, socialization and pre-academic skills looking at each child’s individual abilities and growth.

Peace Through Play Nursery School operates as a year-round nursery school with childcare hours. We are open all day for working parents, offering a full curriculum from 7:30am to 6:00pm. We operate as a Montessori-based program with additional elements from other sound early childhood curricula. The curriculum is designed to enhance children's independence intellectually and emotionally while providing a challenging and fun-filled environment that nurtures friendship, love, harmony and peace - all to bring out the best in each child's growth throughout the year. We help children become prepared for the experience of kindergarten.
