Piermont Library's First Friday Film series kicks off a new year of exciting programming with Joel and Ethan Coen's classic 1996 dark comedy-crime film FARGO, starring Frances McDormand–who, seven months' pregnant at the time of the filming, took home the Best Actress Oscar for her unforgettably quirky performance as a relentless small-town police chief. Also starring Steve Buscemi and William H. Macy.
Nominated for seven Oscars, FARGO is as fresh and audaciously funny today as it was 16 years ago. And the screening, as always, is FREE!
